Prof. Dr. Ilker Yazici - Aesthetic & Plastic Surgeon

Professor Dr. Ilker Yazici, is one of the famous Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons in Istanbul specializing in all types of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures including facial aesthetics, Rhinoplasty, breast aesthetics, otoplasty, abdominoplasty, and liposuction.

Additionally, he is one of the most qualified reconstructive surgeons specializing in repairing and restoring function to patients who went through trauma, cancer or congenital malformations.  

Dr. Ilker also offers some minimally invasive procedures such as Botox and Dermal Fillers at his own clinic in Nisantasi, Istanbul.

Education:

Dr. Ilker graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1998. In the same year, he started his specialization in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery.

Between 2004-2005, he did his Fellowship in the Plastic Surgery/Microsurgery Department of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in the USA.

Work Experience:

2004-2005: During his fellowship prof. Dr. Ilker worked as a Research Fellow for 1 year and 3 months Cleveland Clinic Foundation in the USA.

2006-2013: He worked as a lecturer in the field of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Kırıkkale University Faculty of Medicine.

2006: As part of his military service, he worked as a Specialist Physician in Ankara ONEP for 10 months and at the GATA Burn Center.

2012: Dr. Ilker was awarded the title of Associate Professor in the field of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Additionally, he was awarded a diploma in Hand and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery by the Ministry of Health.

2012: He was awarded the EURAPS Young Scholarship where he worked at Töölö Hospital in Helsinki for three months.

2013-2016: Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery Şişli Florence Nightingale Hospital.

Currently, Prof. Dr. Ilker accepts his patients at his own private clinic in Nisantasi, one of Istanbul’s classy neighborhoods.

Board Certification and Memberships:

• Dr. Ilker Yazici received the EBOPRAS (European Board of Plastic Surgery Certificate) certificate in 2012.
• Member of the Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association.
• Member of the Turkish Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery.
• Prof. Ilker also has two patent applications in his own field.
